When it involves them loosing pretty much all your information I am sure they knew about it sooner than yesterday. Even if they somehow only just found out they were appallingly slow at explaining what was going on.

They can't of known though. Sony weren't part of the investigation they'd of had nothing to do with it whilst the outside firm worked away at it. The only part Sony had to play was shutting down the servers.

Further more it wouldn't make sense for Sony to scrub the facts, because then the outside firm would just come out and say it...

Its likely that they knew what areas of the PSN network were compromised and likely knew that a potential of credit card information could have been obtained. I believe that it took them a week to figure out if it was actually compromised.

By 'nuke' they mean meltdown of your computer's cores. Chernobyl was just the alpha test of Crysis.

PlayStation Network to return with cross-game chat, in-game video chat?

Sounds like Sony is considering making some major updates with the rebuild... although it honestly doesn't make up for the possibility that my credit card information was stolen. It's a start though.

I hope they don't change the dashboard design. I like how minimalist it is.

Haha, people cannot comment on the playstation blogs anymore because the cookie expires within 1 week, therefore they cannot receive criticism and feedback, what a coincidence.

What would that accomplish anyway? People whining for pages and pages of 0 constructive comments.

Sony know there's a big problem, and are working on it, they don't need anyone to tell them people are pissed.

Are our trophies safe? - Unknown PSN Blog post. April, 2011.

The PS.com community seems to think this was the work of PS3 Modern Warfare 2 hackers.
