Gentleman, it is time once again for the annual show.

I always look forward to being able to talk to everyone while the conferences are going on and I hope this year will be no different.

If I had the money to throw around I would be attending this year. Alas, I must watch from the comfort of my home.

Nintendo put on a good show last year, not sucking for once. No graphs or charts, just games games games. Their online stream was really solid too, with tons of extra content streamed after conference ended. I hope this year is similar, with lots of 3DS stuff and their new home console debuting. I know they'll be pushing the latter hard, as they've got hands-on demos booked for straight after.

Sony will do as Sony does. I expect not-so-subtle appologies for the PSN meltdown, Uncharted 3, a crap ton of Move titles, etc. PSP2 will be a huge focus, though I couldnt give a shit about it at this point, except for the price, if just to see if they decide to learn from their mistakes with the PSP and Nintendo's mistakes with the 3DS. Their conference event goes for five friggen hours. Two hours for the live conference, then a huge event for attending journalists to go hands-on with stuff. Their show was okay last year so I expect this to be as well, though they really need to drop the frat boy hollaring plants.

Microsoft...god knows. Last year was fucking terrible, and with both Sony and Nintendo doing hardware reveals I dont know what they'll do to grab attention. Halo remake will probably show, Gears live demo AGAIN, and I expect MW3 to be demoed too like Black Ops last year. They've got to have some surprise or secret, so who knows what. Probably a bunch of shitty 'hardcore' Kinect games. Suda's game might debut. That would be interesting at least.

Outside of seeing Nintendo's new console, Im surprisingly underhyped for this year. There's a lot of good stuff on show, but we already know tons about most of it already, so a lot of it for me is just going to be more videos on games I already want.

I suppose at the top of my list of unknowns is Hitman. On one hand its mother fucking Hitman, and the franchise returning excites me. On the other hand the original team has nothing to do with this new one, and I fear it will be to the franchise what Splinter Cell: Conviction was to Splinter Cell.

I for one am really looking forward to Nintendo's show, more than the other two.

The 3DS has been on shelves for some time, now they have to back it up with software.

I'm keeping my expectations in check for their new home console release.

I wouldn't call the Wii a failure by any stretch of the imagination, but to this day it's the least used device for playing games on in my house.

As far as the other two are concerned, motion gaming was their big push last year and we'll probably see that reoccur for Microsoft.

I'm almost certain that a Kinect enhanced Halo title will be shown.

I actually really enjoyed Conviction. If it were a game under any other name, I don't think people would have resented it as much.

It's clearly not Chaos Theory, but I still enjoyed it for what it was as opposed to what it could have been.

Things I'm looking most forward to: Nintendo's new console, new 3DS games (plus the EShop update, which is on the same day as the Nintendo event), The Last Guardian gameplay, Batman Arkham City gameplay and some new Skyward Sword footage.

I think the artwork from Ocarina is probably my favorite out of the series.

Max Payne 3, Deus Ex:Human Revolution, perhaps some Mass Effect 3 and Diablo 3 for good measure.

Hmmm... I'm sensing a pattern here. A pattern of threes... which means I've gone one game too far!

I hear FarCry 3 will be shown. I am not sure whether to get exited or not. I was really looking forward to FC2 but with the extra long and repetitive single-player (never finished it after playing about 30 hours into it, WAY too much driving to do the same mission in different areas) and a limited multi-player that tried too much to be a class-based/RPG-style shooter (not at all what the original FarCry MP was) that got boring quick, it really turned me off the series.

Some Kojima Productions Surprises at Konami said:

E3 is nearly upon us, which means developers with announcements waiting in the wings are starting to get anxious about sitting on the news. Kojima Productions is the latest to start laying down tracks on ye ol' hype train, promising some "surprises" for Konami's pre-E3 press conference happening next week.

“We are going to have a few announcements at E3 and we have some surprises, so be looking forward to that,” said Kojima Production podcast host Sean Eyestone, as listened to by VG247. "And we have something special lined-up going on a little bit before E3. So next week, we’re going to have a little special something on June 2.”

Rumors are flying about Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker joining the PSP Remasters program that makes previously PSP exclusive games playable on a PS3, and while Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima continues to claim he's moved on from the Metal Gear franchise, it's hard to believe it's true. It's been almost a year since we've heard a peep about the Raiden-lead Metal Gear Solid: Rising, too.

Predicting what Kojima's up to was complicated earlier this week, when the designer made a series of cryptic tweets about something he'd been working on for a year became "meaningless."

"I cannot bear, and cannot be positive," he said. "What I prepared minutely spending a year became meaningless."

Kojima has not acknowledged what he was referring to in the days since. Any guesses?

The game I am really looking forward to see during E3 is Uncharted 3, can't wait to see what they have in store.

I want a video of Arma 3. If they have that, and it's a substantial video, I will be happy with the entire show.

Also, some Diablo 3 would be nice.

First time!

I tried the demo for it ages ago, and didn't really think anything of it.

A few months ago I bought the battle chest to give it another go and got hooked.
