So i just got done hanging with some friends and as i was walking home i noticed a cat following me... immediately i noticed that it was a house cat so it must be lost. It seems to be about a 5-7 month old kitty so what should i feed him should i give him milk?

Don't give him milk, gives them dhiarrea. Water is just fine. I don't know if their is an shelter nearby. Some/most cats are chipped and with a simple scan they can can track a possible owner.

Milhouse's got the right idea. Take him to a shelter or vet and see if it can be scanned.

Also I miss threads like these, we use to have general questions like this all the time.

That, or give him some food/water (not milk) and maybe call the shelter that you have found a cat.

Also, twitter is fucking useful with these cases, get the word out on twitter, ask people in the area to retweet your kitty-tweets, I bet that that works like a charm.

Good luck!

PS: is it a cute kitty? Posted Image

First things first. Relax.

Cooking a kitty is easy. Ever cooked a baby? It's the same kinda thing except you want to soak the kitty in oil first (Rather than brushing the oil on.)

Place on a baking tray and shove it in the oven on something like 150. Let it cook slow. Give it around 30 minutes. Pull it out and enjoy. I suggest eating it with Bacon.

Water, not milk. Most cats (in the US anyway) are lactose intolerant.

If you're certain it is a house cat from nearby, ask around or put some fliers up. Locate your animal shelter that you have the cat, incase the owners go there.

If after a day you haven't found the owner, do the following.

Buy a box (sealed from observation, but with fresh air coming in), a deadly neurotoxin and a detector tuned for one specific isotope and a solution in which the isotope has a small change of forming.
Next summon a Maxwell's demon and see if Schrodinger was right.

My mom always used to give her cats milk mixed with little pieces of bread...
I don't know for sure whether that does not give them dhiarrea, though...

I was actually thinking the exact same thing when I noticed this topic on the front page.

Ahh yes, it feels like 2004 all over again!
