Valve to Attend Gamescom

Valve will be attending this year's Gamescom, according to Go Nintendo.

It actually seems they've got something to show. The only confirmed project Valve is working on is DOTA (Defense of the Ancients) 2 - a fantasy strategy game for PC and Mac. But Valve could, of course, announce further DLC for Portal 2.
Perhaps a glimpse of Episode Three? (ahahahahahahaha)

Gamescom will run from August 17 to 21 in Cologne, Germany - make sure you don't miss anything!

Hope to God its episode 3! I don't care a single bit about DOTA and I don't want anymore Portal for a while. Come on Valve!

I hope Axel Gembe will be there, I'm pretty sure he'll be able to scoop up some Ep3 behind the scene stuff for us! It's been too long now for us to stay nice.

But Fo'Real, this will probably be all about Dota 2, which I also do not care about in the slightest way.

DOTA 2 is the only product we know they're working on officially.
That said, I think that they'll announce a new project and finish it before they'll release anything on Episode 3. DOTA 2 will be their game next year and I'll think we'd be lucky to get a new Half-Life in 2013.

Read something from somewhere about how Valve might have something to show of EP3 by the end of this year. I doubt they'd be showing it now because they suck and are stupid.

Any news from Valve is good news in my books.

I for one would like to see how DoTA is coming along, some gameplay footage would be excellent.
