With an update to the Team Fortress Blog site, comes an clues to figure out what it may include.

Quote

1.) It IS a "Meet the" short.
2.) It involves ONE of the two remaining classes.
3.) It's NOT the Pyro.
4.) It's the MEDIC.

They've gone mad it seems and given everyone a "WEEK-LONG FREE WEEKEND" of Team Fortress 2 starting now. If you want to see what all the fuss is about and like class-based, strategic combat with a dash of hats, this is your game.

MY GOD, FINALLY THEY ARE GOING TO RELEASE ANOTHER MEET THE VIDEOS! Its interesting that the video component was added and we know have something related to the pigeons... wonder what could it be...

while I like the guns/hats, i would love if they had a new gameplay mode, time will tell!.

Also, I wish they would move away from the barn look, its overused (gravelpit, all payloads, dustbowl, etc) and definitely needs something with more lively colors.

Also, I'm always up for tf2, my steam account is crrm81, add me if you want to play tf2 anytime.

You can find many of us online here: HLF Steam Group

I have TF2 installed but haven't played it in awhile, I'm more of a zombie-killing kinda guy

Cool! Been looking for an incentive getting back into TF2 for good. Haven't really played after the load of items came in.

I tried joining one of HLF's servers the other day but I think they need to be restarted and updated with the latest patches.

Same. I've played it once or twice pretty recently though and was somewhat overwhelmed.

Yeah. I think it used to be real simple and fun, but all the items made it a little messy and cluttered. It's just not what it should be about (imho). TF2 ain't what it used to be.

It really isn't, but since I mostly play as Medic, I can still have a quality time every now and then just healing and ubering people like a mad man. :P

Whenever I play any other class though I'll get bored soon, because as you said, it gets a bit too messy and cluttered for me with all these different weapons being thrown at me. I remember Valve saying they made the characters and weapons stand out a lot in respect to eachother, so you could always clearly see who (and also with what) is attacking you. That was true before, but now with the hundreds of hats and a whole lot of different weapons, it's not so clear anymore.

Still, it's my favorite and most played multiplayer game since ET. And to think I wouldn't even have bought it right away if it wasn't in the Orange Box already.

I haven't played in a while, but at it's core it's still mostly the same game right. Sure the weapon effects might be different, but your pyro still torches/axes things and the soldier still fires rockets.

well, depends on what load out you have, for example you can use incendiary rockets, healing boots and the katana on the soldier, so that makes him play totally different. :P

They seem to have redesigned the site today. Says the meet the medic video will be coming sooner rather than later.
