Tim Cook's been taking over slowly for a while now and they are doing pretty well. Tim might not be as good at the showmanship side like Steve but if he puts out great products it won't matter.

It's what they've been calling it on Windows 8/Windows Phone 7. I assume that's what the 360 dashboard variant will be called.

LOL! I wanted to learn about about metro, here's one of the "defining principles" behind the whole concept of metro:

Don’t Try to be What It’s NOT

I thought that I read somewhere that you can basically get rid off pretty much all the Windows Phone like elements in Win8. It's true that you can't fully turn it off though. I think that it'll basically be a new set of widgets, which is fine imo. Anyway, I'm not even sure if I'll upgrade to Win8 because Win7 is awesome as it is.

I own an iPod and an iPad and the iPhone 5 will probably be my first smartphone.

Steve Jobs influence on the evolution of computers, marketing and business is undeniable. For a guy who's father was Syrian, who was adopted at child-birth and dropped out of collage he sure managed to do some pretty good stuff. Also this speech at Stanford is really good, his life and is accomplishments is really an inspiring story.

Considering that the iPhone 5 is rumored to be released in September or October, I wonder who's going to do the presentations now that Steve isn't CEO. Surely it will be a different thing without Steve, but I hope that the products won't be suffering. It should't hurt their products that much, it's not like Steve Jobs is the only brilliant guy at Apple.

I'm also looking forward to iCloud which seems to be an way to "wash" your pirated music into legit and clean music and seems to be a really nice way of sharing your content across platforms.

I don't think we will be seeing Steve on stage for a while there is a pretty shocking picture of him on TMZ looking very frail. I hope he can recover from this :-(
