With the release of a new steam client update, the steam trading feature is now live. If you never tried the beta, steam trading lets you trade Steam Gifts and in-game items from Valve games Team Fortress 2 and Portal 2 with future developers incorporating the trading feature into their games. Your steam community profile now has an item inventory, so that you can view your friend's public profiles to see what they might have you'd like to trade for.

Well this is pretty fancy, I must say.
Too bad I have absolutely no use for it. But hey, keep making Steam cooler! don't sit on your laurels! That's the spirit!

I like the way the inventory is set up, I was sad to see the first two people i looked up in my friends list only had a few items in tf2 and nothing else of value.

i might trade my l4d2 copies for hats, then trade hats for a single hat, I am still missing the giggly brain slug, but I atleast have the sombrero...
