Apple Co-founder and until recently head of the company Steve Jobs has passed on yesterday.
He likely died as a consequence of pancreatic cancer.

Quote

Steve Jobs "died peacefully today surrounded by his family" .... the Apple mogul's family said in a statement.

Here's another article with more background.

When he left Apple for health reason I wasn't expecting this to happen so short after his departure.

RIP Steve Jobs.

While I was watching the keynote I was wondering why there was an empty chair the whole time, turns out it was for Steve :(

Steve Jobs was one of the real visionaries of the early computer-age. One of the few guys who's been in the business since the start. He made an impact and he was "one of the crazy ones", an rebel, an outsider, who truly changed the world.

We still have Bill Gates though, but he's doing some other (perhaps more important) things these days.
