i tried buying counter strike source today and steam told me i couldnt buy it because my address wasnt correct with the card i was using, which is a gift card. so that alone makes absolutely no sense. and then i went to use the cad someone where and it said it was sufficient in funds. so i looked at the cards history and it says VALVE charged me for the game. yet on my steam account it says the purchase wasnt successful. and it obviously wasnt cause the games no where in my games list. yet my money is gone. steam will lose 4 customers if i dont get this money or the game.

just send a support ticket, im sure they will refund the account used if it finds that it made a mistake. Usually it will take a few weeks for them to respond.

How vill Steam (or rather Valve) lose 4 customers if YOU don't get the game or the money?

Yeah, just send a support ticket and I'm sure everything will be just fine... just don't drink the water, they put something in it, to make you forget.
