Urgh, I feel like commiting genocide on the people who had this idea.
PDT? PST? Fucktards can't even understand their own timezone.
I'm starting in 15 minutes, screw this.

Regardless of whether or not they can actually get the acronyms right, the countdown is still correct, a hour and fifteen minutes.

I'll just launch the game, and go watch some porn in the steam web browser overlay. :zombieattack

Yep, their countdown is correct although they should have been smart enough to understand from the beginning that they are communicating to people all around the world so just use GMT.

Anyway I like the idea of a peaceful polite message like this, rather than picketing outside Valve. The other genius part of this plan is the fact that it requires so little effort on our part- we don't even have to get off our asses, that we don't mind participating.

With 30 mins to go I can see the peak number of HL2 players today on steam has been around 3200. Let's see how high we can get it!

I wish I could play. Not home at the moment. It's a group effort! I'm sure Valve will notice though. Different story if they will give out any EP3 info.

12,800 players - Not bad.

It was 3200 less than an hour ago. So in that time more than 9000 people have played HL2 just to make a point. Will probably increase a bit more...

I played through route kanal. Not much fun.

Making it past a bit over 13,000 is impressive but we didn't even get into the top ten (I blame counter-strike). I loaded sandtrap up so I could get the "keep off the sand" achievement and went online once my mission was complete to see what fake factory's been up to. I dislike the majority of the models he uses, but the environments and textures are impressive when viewed as a comparison.

Broken links, bro.

13000 isn't a huge number, but it's respectable, I guess.
Funnily, some random guys called "Y U NO PLAY HLAF LIFE 2" tried adding me as a steam friend just as I started playing.

Welp, I'm up to the end of Ravenholm by the 3 hour mark. Great game.
