Steam mobile app in closed beta

On iOS and Android you can now download the new Steam app, you may have to wait an hour or two after trying to log in to be allowed to use the app since it is in closed beta. You can find the download links and more information on the Steam website.

This is cool! Been waiting for a Steam app.

Edit: Darn, the closed part is starting to make sense now. Didn't allow me to login so waiting for an invite now :P

After trying to log in a few hours ago I got error messages now its let me in so you may just have to wait a while. Stupid way to do it though, if they are testing it they don't have to release the whole app to the public. It just annoys people that are trying to use it.

Yay, I just got in the beta for Android. Check your inventory and it'll add it. It'll say mobile under your status and if you get sent a message on both your computer and phone if youre logged in.

Wait, looking at it in my inventory, it appears you can gift it to somebody. I won't lose my access, will I?
