Help Steam password reset reset of password

I have went into support on steam several times and had it send me the email to reset my password. I click on the link, provide the temp password and my new one and click continue. It states everything is complete however when I navigate away from that page and click on sign in my username and password comes up invalid. I have tried this a total of 5 times now. Anyone have this happen before? I have emailed steam and have yet to recieve anything back. And I recall about 4-5 months ago I tried doing the same thing and never heard back from them.
