Half-Life Fallout: Help with G Mod; It's a Steam issue nont an ingame one... - Half-Life Fallout

I posted this on the Steam help forum a while ago and have not ahd any reply yet so i'll try here to see if you guys can help me...

"I purchased Garry's Mod a while ago with old account mrmctwiggy, i then had email issues (fluffy_ferret2@hotmail.com) and had to create a new account 00jlees with my new email joshualees00@hotmail.co.uk. All my other games have worked fine on my pc, however Garry's Mod says that i need to repurchase the game and this i feel is very unfair because it IS installed on my pc and i have used it before the account change, which was not my fault.

I need to know if you can do something to make Garry's Mod recognise that it is actually installed, and HAS been paid for before hand.

I will not pay again for something that i've already purchased.

All games are linked to an account at the time of purchase, if you created a new account then valve will not transfer your games over to another account (unless its some rare case).

You will likely need to purchase GMod again, not like its that expensive given all the play time you can have with it.

I just don't agree with the idea of having to re-buy a game that is already installed on my computer, i can access the files etc, but cannot start the game itself without making another purchase.

yeah, it sucks, its DRM, I think Valve made the least intrusive of all types, the downside is you gotta be careful with your email, most people it isnt a problem, but others get sol'd.

You should be able to change your email from your computer without getting into your old email account. I saw this update shortly after the last guy came here to complaint about a similar issues. If you can still log into your old Steam account go to Setting and look for change contact email.
