Crysis 3

Crytek are going free-to-play once their current commitments are done. Which sounds like Crysis 3, Homefront 2 and Ryse will be their last single player games

Oh, so Crysis 3 may thankfully not end with a 2 second cliffhanger then.

I've just seen this now. To be honest it doesn't look too spectacular. This portion of the game looks like a cheap rip off of Aliens Vs. Predator or something. Also I don't care for the bow and arrow. Just seems like a stupid gimmick. Crysis 3 is on the high road to disappointment. Believe me they can't afford that kind of negative publicity after that horrendous piece of garbage, Crysis 2.

Well said, it's hard to know where to put your money nowadays.

I wish they would have gotten the story writer from the second one back. The plot itself was nothing new, but the banter between all the opposing factions (Cell, Hargreave, the military) and people's reaction's to the protagonist being basically a corpse kept alive by the suit made it pretty memorable.
Three so far seems like it's going back to the dull writing of 1 where everyone has no personality whatsoever.

I agree. With the poor writing it just seems extremely dull. Which is sad for the Crysis francise. I thought the first one was exemplary. Not just for the graphics but the intense storyline and timeline. Especially when they released Crysis Warhead. Now between Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 everything just seems dead. Like an empty shell of a once great game. I'll still play this one just for the sake of keeping up with each game but I'm not really looking forward to it. Kind of sucks really.
