So sadly we can't all work for Valve, for the lucky few who get in receive a well written and illustrated handbook. Some naughty scamp seems to have scanned the handbook for us so we can take a peak. Have a read of it here.

Haha, this was actually quite an interesting read. And further proof that Valve is the greatest company in the world to be an employee of.

That's done quite nicely in typical Valve style.

Also gives a good view of the things that make Valve a great creative company.

Their corporate culture is undoubtedly something to behold and works great for them. I don't however think it would work for 99% of organizations. Probably only works in an environment where everybody has a strong passion for and loves what they are doing.

Yeah, I think they have made an effort to hire people who have that mind set, self motivated, skilled, productive, loves games & can design hats...
