Non-News: Valve won't show anything new at E3

In a yet unverified rumour based on this email a Valve fan received, Gabe Newell declared that at E3 2012, Valve will be showing off CS:GO, DOTA2 and maybe other previously announced stuff, and absolutely no new unannounced Half-lives or anything else.
EDIT: IGN verified this with Valve. It is sadly true.

I think it has something to do with the 3 in E3, Valve just isn't good with 3's.

And I think Valve doesn't really need the E3 to announce a game, they are one of the biggest developers, and they like to do it their way. :gordon:
