Available now for PC and Mac, The "Perpetual Testing Initiative" allows players to create, share, and play Portal 2 puzzles. The Initiative comes with a simplified Puzzle Maker that allows that creation of puzzles without leaving the game.

The Puzzle Maker can directly publish maps to the Steam Workshop where you can browse, vote on, and select to play them. Selected puzzles will automatically be downloaded and installed inside Portal 2.

POST YOUR CREATIONS IN THIS THREAD!

I fiddled with it for a few minutes, it's pretty good, shouldn'T take more than half an hour to get fluent with it.

I dind'T have a good puzzle idea, so I didn'T accomplish much, but it sure has potential.

How about a HLF test/map contest?

We'd have no entries, then everyone would feel bad.

Neil, I tried your map, it's a good first effort. The room with the excursion funnels is neat, a very simple and effective puzzle, the part with the lasers and the aerial faith plates is a bloody death trap, no fun at all.
Also, the aerial faith plate segment lacks precision, there's too much manoeuvring while in the air required.

I tried doing an alternative solution without using the blue gel, but staying alive with those red lasers was literally murder.

Still, good effort, thumbs up!

I made a Test Chamber.

It's called The Guantlet V1.0

I'd appreciate it if anyone could test it and give me feedback. :) It took me roughly 5 hours to make in one sitting, it's not completely finished.

Looks nice to me. I'll try it this weekend.
We need a big custom map thread.

Not as photogenic as some, but it should keep you busy for 5 minutes. Give it a big thumbs up if you enjoy.

I'm moving this thread from news and making it our thread for posting usermade maps.
!
I introduced the portal 2 mapmaker to my 30 year old brother last week, and he loves it!
I have to say he could have won the HLF map contest (but he's no HLFer, so lucky youse!)

Val's World 1

Val's World 2

edit: Val's World 3

He's working on Val's World 3 as I post this (No, titles are not his strong suit, and who cares).

And as a counterpoint, here's my newest creation, also with a terrible title:
