Overkill teams up with Valve
#1 Posted 21 May 2012 - 12:53 PM
In a recent patch for PAYDAY: The Heist, hints were dropped that something exciting was coming. Overkill (the team behind PAYDAY: The Heist) has confirmed everyone's suspicions, that an "in-depth collaboration with valve is currently under production."
Could this mean a third Left 4 Dead is incoming? Or some kind of awesome DLC for PAYDAY: The Heist? Either way, prepare yourself for greatness.

I wish payday was done in the source engine to begin with, could have easily been a left 4 dead mod.

I played it the day it was on sale, had a bit of fun with it but the shooting wasn't very satisfying and didn't make me want to replay any level unlike left 4 dead where I could play some levels a ton of times without getting sick of it.

I spent 52 hours playing PAYDAY, reached level 145 too. But the next patch for PAYDAY is going to add DLC: a new class, new enemies, new weapons, new heists, new upgrades, and increase the level cap.

Not sure I even saw all the maps... might give it another shot.

I just came here to say that you used my screen shot for the picture on your home page. Pretty funny

Indeed I did, I found it much easier to "borrow" your screen of something that could be taken by anyone in game than to reinstall the game myself and take one that would almost surely look exactly like it. To appease you and the mighty internet gods, I will slap some credit on the original post.
