3DS event was boring as well. At least they showed a bunch of games, but all once that were already shown either at the last E3 (like Paper Mario and Luigi's Mansion 2) or before E3. Except Scribblenauts Unlimited I guess, but that was announced yesterday. :P

Damn, was really hoping they would at least show something new (more specific; a new Zelda).

I'm disappointed they showed nothing new, but my expectations were low already and I liked the games they showed. Mickey, Castlevania, NSMB2, Paper Mario and Luigi's Mansion all looked good to me. So unlike the Wii U event I actually liked what I saw.

I tried watching the nintendo conference, I ended up skipping through the entire thing, they showed absolutely nothing of interest.

I skipped watching the conferences this year and was going to wait for a highlights or "best of E3" reel. Turns out it won't exist because apparently everything sucked.

Where the **** is my The Last Guardian footage? Thief 4? Metroid? 0/3 on my expectations list.

...And in other news, I enjoy drinking some whiskey and playing Just Dance 3 with my Kinect and **** you guys if that's a problem

Aye,same here, although since I had no expectations, they were100% fulfilled. I wanted nothing out of E3 and got nothing.

I didn't even bother watching the Nintendo Conference. I could tell it would be mostly the same shit as always.

Stocks of Nintendo have dropped 4,5% in the meantime. They're not worried because they're aiming for "the whole family".
Mom, dad and grandma have to buy this console (they won't)

Also who the fuck cares about 1-2 year old games we've all played before on the X360/Ps3. Nintendo is so delusional.

Nintendo were full of shit saying they had so much more to show that they needed a separate hour just for the 3ds, they could have fit it in the main E3 show because they showed pretty much exactly the same stuff apart from explaining everything in more detail... I don't know why they bothered... nice to watch more awkward people in suits talking to each other though.

Just wondering, did they show anymore footage of that Wii U, Legend of Zelda game they previewed last year or the year before?

I like how everyone was proclaiming that developers where focusing too much on graphics than on gameplay, and now I hear how people are saying the current generation of consoles is holding back the graphics...

We know there’s a new Mario game coming for the Wii U, New Super Mario Bros. U. Last year when the Wii U was first introduced, a standalone Zelda battle scene was created to showcase the system’s high-definition graphics. What about the Wii U intrigues you for what you could do in a Zelda game?
Obviously we started that experiment last year and used that to sort of showcase some of the HD visuals. And obviously when you look at that, you do get a positive reaction to how simply having the HD visuals in a Zelda game can really make the game look wonderful and give it sort of a high-quality feel. But one thing that’s interesting is we’re seeing how the way that tastes are broadening in video games and you have some people who prefer more casual experiences, and you have some people who prefer sort of those more in-depth experiences. Obviously, as a company that’s been making games for a very long time, we tend to be more on the deeper, longer game side of things. But really what we continue to ask ourselves as we have over the years is, “What is the most important element of Zelda if we were to try to make a Zelda game that a lot of people can play?” So we have a number of different experiments going on, and [when] we decide that we’ve found the right one of those to really help bring Zelda to a very big audience, then we’ll be happy to announce it.

So you’re sort of in the R&D stage?
Yeah. With the last game, Skyward Sword, that was a game where you had motion control to use your weapons and a lot of different items, and I thought that was a lot of fun, but there were some people who weren’t able to do that or didn’t like it as much and stopped playing partway through it. So we’re in the phase where we’re looking back at what’s worked very well and what has been missing and how can we evolve it further.

Watched a 10 minute interview/demo of Metro: Last Light, can't wait for that game.

EDIT . . . Also, Unreal Engine 4 and Crytek Water. Long live PC master race.

Games are gonna look awesome! Hopefully the new consoles will be able to do all this stuff.
