Fucking hell Nintendo need to step it up a little, their pre e3 video was like a boring PowerPoint presentation. Didn't show anything really that interesting either except they have basically made an Xbox controller to play games ported from 360 and ps3.

What the hell did you expect? Seriously? "We'll talk about the hardware", and that's what they did. The talked about the system, left the games for E3, like they said, and it flowed in the typically long winded drawl that every single other Nintendo Direct has.

But of course it was followed by the usual non-constructive bitching and moaning from people who had already decided to bitch and moan regardless of what was shown. Just as their E3 presser will. Because that's Nintendo.

It's a smart move.

I hope Nintendo finally goes hardcore and starts making grimdark shooters and frustratingly hard platformers to please the minority of neckbeards who whine about how they aren't pandering to their terrible tastes.

I'm hoping to see fails like E3 2010.

Seven hours until the Microsoft conference. I can beat Alan Wake by then I hope, word is their big surprise is Alan Wake 2.

I've used IGN for the past few E3s, they are very stable and high quality. Plus their live on-stage demo lineup is pretty nuts for the next few days.
