I was actually thinking of going to the 250GB SSD for my primary drive and a standard 2TB Sata 7200RPM for secondary storage. Seems to be the best route. My two 400GB drives are ancient. Got these back in 2008 along with the rest of my machine. I've tried to "future-proof" it as much as possible and I've succeeded in that respect. However there's certain things that don't keep up.
Is SSD worth it?

Yeah that sounds quite good. You can pretty much fit everything you need on a 250GB drive (Windows, programs, some games). Just have everything else on the traditional hard-drive. It's not like you need that speed with pictures, videos, music etc.
