downloaded expasion first before actual game it is the shougn 2 total war games

when i got my new computer i thought that shogun 2 fall of the samurai was an actual game not an expansion, so after when i try to download shogun 2 it would not work. then when i uninstall fall of the samurai it says an error occored. so after when i install shogun 2 it has the fall of the samurai options but not the shogun 2 options. :(

please help!!

Try deleting the ClientRegistry.blob file in your Steam folder (quit Steam first). It should be remade if you start Steam after that.
If that doesn't work try uninstalling Shogun and then deleting the ClientRegistry.blob and after that reinstall Shogun 2.

That's because you never look out from your window to the common folk below.

There was a bit of a lull with these kinds of threads, but somehow we again end up high in the Steam issues list.
