It seems that the ValveTime community got an 'anonymous' clip today, showing the much anticipated Black Mesa: Source mod in action. You will notice some significant gameplay changes; Iron-sights, damage indicators, an altered FOV and completely new voice-overs. Black Mesa: Source has been in 'development' since 2004 - with still no release-date in sight.

Yeah it's not great, actual gameplay looks pretty good though. Would have helped if he had the flashlight on so we could see better though!

its still marvelous how it has been going on, just wish they let the community help them out and push a faster development/release.

I dont see why they needed to add new voices, the originals would have worked well and made it more familiar. See TF2...

Am I the only one that is completely fine with the new voices? And the reason they were re-recorded is so they can add new dialogue. It's supposed to be a very fresh experience.

No problems with the voice acting for me. Looks pretty decent there, should be fun to play if it ever comes out.

Just about everywhere I've read about this, people are complaining about the voice acting... All things considered, if that's what folks are most worried about after several minutes of gameplay, I'd say we're in good shape.

Looks awesome so far to me.

Looks good.

Voice acting isn't consistently good, but I wouldn't say all of it is terrible.

Are they redoing all the voice acting? I can't see anyone doing the Gman or Dr Kleiner voices without just having them sound wrong or weird.
