Starting today, everyone has a chance to pre-purchase CS:GO on Steam. Players who pre-purchase now will receive a 10% discount and gain access to the beta on August 14th. The beta will continue for all current testers and pre-order players until the release of the game on August 21st. Also currently on Steam they are offering the Counter-Strike: Complete pack at a 66% discount which also includes CS:GO, so if you want to get into Counter-Strike ready for CS:GO now's a good time to buy!

god damn you valve, your ridiculously low price makes your discount completely irrelevant. They should atleast offer a 4pack deal and get friends to join!

Pretty good deal if you want garrys mod and don't have CS:Source, and even if you do have CS:Source valve normally let you get an extra copy with their games.
