Last week's TF2 session was a return to grace, and most involved had a good time (too bad about the Americans, that's two continents of fail. :whacklook ).

Now, for the close future.
please list what games you want to play with HLFers. I can't possibly list all games in a poll, so you'll have to say what's on your mind yourself.

Also, do we need a VOIP system with a separate client? (I'm not going to pay for one if it just ends up gathering dust like our old Vent did).

As far as games are concerned, I'm having thoughts of:

  • TF2
  • L4D2 (this week)
  • DayZ for Arma 2
  • actual Arma 2 for everyone who isn't afraid.
  • minecraft
  • CS:GO (and other counter-strike games)
  • Dota 2
  • League of Legends
  • Battlefield 3
  • Unreal Tournament 2004
  • Sven Coop

Steam chat is fine by me, though if anyone still has a TS/Vent server we could just use, that would be nice.

As for games, I'd also love to play Killing Floor with the HLF crew.

My mic is finicky and the reason why it works normally, but doesn't work for games still alludes me.
So overall I prefer Steam chat.

I don't like talking while there are other people are in the house because I just say stupid things... so I stick to steam chat :P

I would buy CS:GO if other people here have it and want to play it together. I can't imagine it being too fun without at least coordinating with teammates and not dying repeatedly as a result.

Well I'm glad that most people seem to like steamchat just fine. This'll cut down on the "OH LOL I NO HAVE PROGRAM INSTALLED BECAUSE I AM AN ASSHOLE!"
