I'm looking forward to seeing PSN cost money, Xbox One's exclusives all being Kinect games and no announcements from Valve.

If psn cost money they will still be better than Xbox live if they still let you use Netflix ect for free. Not sure how they are going to give away games with ps plus with the ps4.

The E3 2013 trailer for South Park: The Stick of Truth is exactly the same as the E3 2012 trailer except they changed the logo from THQ to Ubisoft. Fuck that.

If this is true, that is really depressing.

New Metal Gear trailer, along with Snake's VA are confirmed. As is some PES, and the first gameplay of Lords of Shadow 2. Plus new announcements, apparently.

I'm really hoping for Half-Life 3... What are the chances, though?

Zero. Well, 0.1%. Maybe. Valve is busy with Source 2, I think. They've been super duper quiet on the software front so they must be working on some big things, but I'm not sure this year will be the one where it's all announced. Next year, maybe. Unless Sony/Microsoft have them locked down for a conference surprise, which is always possible.

I'm looking forward to Nintendo's thingo if just for Bayonetta 2. From existence, to cancellation, to salvation. Will be nice to finally see how Smash is coming along, and I'm keen to see if Nintendo can keep that bottled magic for Mario 3D, like they had for Galaxy 1/2. Kart should be fun, but I really don't care too much about it, even though I'll buy it anyway.

Hoping we see Retro's next game. It's been a long time coming.

i'm a tad bit worried that valve may lose focus as a game developer. With everything else going on about gaming on Linux, and input devices, steam etc the only they which they don't talk about is new games. They also have ridiculous amounts of money now thanks to steam which means they don't even need to make new games to stay in business, so they don't feel any pressure to complete games unlike other devs.

Interesting thing with Valve at the moment is that they're in the process of building Source 2, and moving their workflow and toolset over to the new engine. It's actually very common for developers in the middle of an engine evolution/transfer to drastically slow down software announcements and releases. So Valve's weird silence at the moment aligns pretty nicely with their engine situation.

I know they have been working on dota and all the other projects and I know that valve aren't one for talking about the games they're working on but their complete silence on anything related to games is a tad bothersome :| It would be a shame if they really did have nothing at all to show at E3 this year. Especially given the new consoles being shown.
