Geforce 4 (ti4000) for under 100 dollars

Well up the street there are a few computer stores and there is fryes. Well I was reading the thing Mr. chimp wrote up about what kind of system you should have. I saw that anything under 100 is crap. Not true. At fryes there are some geforce4 I think they are the Ti4000 for $90 dollars. There is also some mom and pop computer stores and they have some geforce4 cards for $70. They arn't used either.

Now I'm wondering, is there somethind I should be worried about, with good cards, that are this cheap?

I have a GF4 ti4600, the GF4 series is pretty old though(a little over a year), if you look aorund you can find an ATI 9600 for a little more.

Hey if you live right by Frys could you do me a favor??? Could ya see how much the x800 pro is? I wanna see if theres a difference from retail stores... I plan on getting the XT.

at frys it's prolly 499.99 thats how much all the new cards are there. I would check out micro center they have good prices on stuff. Also I find the best hardware review site is http://tomshardware.com

Also I went to micro center and talked to an ex-network admin. He was also a big gamer, he told me that LCD screens arn't the best for gaming. They ghost kinda bad...

oh yea frys sucks. They repackage alot of stuff. I don't buy anything from there. They over price there stuff. (but I do buy programming books there)

heh trust me, they can even mess up books. No one up there knows anything about computers or anything at all.

Why would anyone want to waste 500 dollars, (around 545 with tax)?
