i thinks Bite's HL2 speculation about dr.breen is right!

as seen in the new pics of HL2 (and i guess ALL of the ones who is viewing this post have seen them) u can see some future-lab and in the center of it, a screen that displies dr.breen, and he seems unhappy..
i think this kind of lab controls Dr breen's model and dr.breen is actually a human-program!
but still controlled by the combine and used for them...

He owns a liegon of naked chikens as a back up plan incase the combine fail their mission. Mwhahahahahahah.

Administrator Breen is real. He is a person that's sold-out to the Combine for the "safety" of humans. He is the Combine's human ambassador, if you will. He preaches propoganda about how good the Combine are. He is real. He is constantly advising Gordon to turn to the path of the Combine, during the game. Saying things like, "Think of the future of the human race, Mr. Freeman! Would you really risk it all for some radical's apocolyps theory?!" He is real.

If he doesn't exist, it will be like Equilibrium. you guys should rent it, it has amazing similarities to the Half-Life 2 story. By the way, I think he might be the G-man, with altered features and an altered voice. just listen to the way he pauses, talking in a strange voice. Just a thought.

I think Gordan was just at like a combine command post or something and Breen just happen to be on the screen when he arrived

no he isn't, unless Gman can shape-shift...which I highly doubt. Breen talks directly to Gordon, in person.

I'm tempted to suggest that he is "the administrator" mentioned in HL1, but the truth is that we have so little information to go on, that IMHO discussion is moot.

Dr.Breen is the combine, he controlls them, combine are hybrids created by Dr.Breen. I think he was the adminstrator and planned to go to xen but it went wrong and so he created the combine to combat the xen and enslave the humans to his wishes.
