Cmon, you people gotta admit valve is really trying to make an extreme profit over the hype they created. Really, the raw software shouldnt cost more than 30 bucks. But hey, everyone is so excited they get to play CS Source, no one really cares.

I should like just subscire to steam, get access to all games, and when I get tired of playing everyingthing, I'll just cancel it and purchase CS Source. I get to play all the games for... a whole $5 cheaper, whoo, lol. Well, that is if that option is available soon.

the bronze reail is the hl2 and cs:S only silver retail is the one with the MP and gold retail is the CE.

I'm getting the CE already paid for and waiting for them to call and tell me to come get it.

If I wasn't such a fan boy, I'd go Silver. The extra ten bucks is an awesome price for the extra software. But I can't deny my excitement or my wallet. I'm going gold. Hopefully HL2 will too and soon

I am still undecided. I want to buy over Steam, but that may mean that I have to buy a DVDRW drive, because I don't have anything to back it up with. That's another 60 quid.

The bronze, gold and silver are only for Steam packages. The retail packages are only the CE and the regular. And BTW, I'm getting the CE.

I am going to purchase Silver.. Gold has to much worthless crap. What are you going to do wear your hat, or t-shirt out in the public and get pwned by the non-nerds? The valve trip you can enter without even buying anything just send them a postcard. The box is the only decent thing and there is no way that I am paying an extra $30 for a box and 2 posters. Comon valve, I love ya but not that much. :):

The CE box in the Gold Package doesnt come with any CD's/DVD's. Its just a collectors box for collecting purposes.
