I bought Doom 3: BFG edition or whatever for $10 over at gmg. Mainly for Ultimate Doom and Doom 2 (even though I already own both of those in duplicate already, different retail collections) and it's great. It supports the mouse and it's as fun as I remember it. But there's no Final Doom. WTH. And then I fire up Doom 3 after playing with the originals for awhile. And I'm treated to one enemy at a time. I mean, why the hell would they think that would be a good change of pace? Fast and furious originals vs slow and I'm-trying-to-scare-you-but-failing Doom 3. Sigh. I may just skip to the lost missions to find out if they're any better, but I doubt it.

Oh god Hitman: Absolution, why did you have to mistreat me so? You had a bunch of missions that were so fucking wonderful, that almost felt like they were pulled from Blood Money (except for the whole, not being able to pick your own weapons and the disguises being mostly shit) and then you had to fill the rest of the game with useless, get to this door through all of these guards I put in the way missions that had no point in being there. WHYYYYY

EDIT . . . Deadspace 3 will be releasing only on origin. I guess that's one more good game I'm going to have to play with their horrible online service.

I agree with eat on a lot of his points (in this thread and the one he posted in the soapbox) but I still had fun with it. Everything felt right even if the features of the game (the money and skills and hunting) were incredibly irrelevant after five hours of exploring the island (meaning it was way too easy to fully upgrade everything). I still liked the story for the most part (the whole final battle with vaas was a big "wtf just happened" moment and it seemed like every cutscene your character was tripping balls on something or another) even with it's faults.

Is this eventually going to apply to selling games or will it be simply for items? It would be good to start selling some awful games I bought at full price.

You'll never get the pieces back from your soul they've cost you

    you mean this?

HAHAHAHA, been awhile since I've heard that. It still cracks me up.

Also forgot to mention that you can download the "Drunken Whaler" song from the Dishonored E3 trailer here. I do believe this might be the best game of the year for me, unless the new Hitman game can be as good, if not better than Blood Money.
